He goes to every window in the house until he finds me. He’s telling me they need more mealworms.

I have a very similar story. The love of my life drowned 6 weeks ago while trying to save someone. The day after he passed I had a friend send me a message about if you see a blue jay that means your loved one is around checking up on you. Last week I was sitting on my back deck and all of a sudden a blue jay came from out of nowhere and landed on the railing. It looked at me and gave a loud squawk then hopped closer. It comes by almost daily now and like you I feed it nuts. My boyfriend was aboriginal and I had the pleasure of meeting one of his coworkers who wanted to smudge me. So I went out to her place and we did the smudging and then she had me make my own smudging feather. She gave me a wild turkey and goose feather. She started looking around the room for something and said she had another feather to add. It was one she had had for quite a while and didn’t know who it was for until we started making my smudging feather. It was a blue jay feather❤️
I loved your story so much and had to reach out to tell you mine. What you and I have experienced is so very special!
